First Baptist Church
God's Word is the light that directs our path each and every day. God's Word is
sufficient for all our needs and our only source of life and godliness. Join us for an
in depth study of the Words of God.
We have classes for the following age groups: 2s & 3s, 4 & 5s, Primary,
Junior, Junior high, Senior high, College and Career, and Adult; plus a Nursery for new
born babes and the Cradle for toddlers. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the
way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
3M's Missionary Society
The 3M's are Maidens, Mrs., and Moms. The object of
this society is to develop the spiritual life; to engage in missionary
work for the home and foreign mission fields supported by the church,
and to promote social activities and the benevolent interest of the
women of the church. Any woman, who is a member of the church, is a
member of the 3M's Missionary Society, and any other woman can become a
non-voting member who is in sympathy with our ideals; and she may serve
in any capacity, except elective offices, as committee head, and in the
nursery.
The 3M's has four officers President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer. We have six standing committees which help to
fulfill our objective. These committees are as follows:
Missionary Work Committee: This committee is
responsible for the missionary cupboard, 3M's missionary work projects,
and missionary information.
Sunshine Committee: This committee is responsible for
sending cards and making visits to spread cheer, and oversees bridal and
baby showers.
Kitchen Committee: This committee is responsible for
organizing the workers schedule for the year, purchase of kitchen
supplies, and to oversee the kitchen during church activities.Hospitality Committee: This committee is responsible
for finding suitable housing and meals for visiting missionaries and
special speakers, and organizing meals to be taken into the homes of
those in our fellowship where there is a need due to an illness,
hospital stay, or other stressful conditions.
Nursery Committee: This committee is responsible for
making a nursery workers schedule, keeping the nurseries clean and
orderly, maintaining supplies and current baby information.Social Committee: This committee is responsible for
promoting and organizing social activities for the church, such as pie
socials, singspirations, and other such functions.
At each meeting we start out with a devotional or an
update on one of our supported missionaries. We then proceed with our
business meeting. After the meeting we break up into groups and pray for
our supported missionaries. Then we have a missionary project time, such
as a craft to give to a missionary. We also make time to have a snack
and to have fellowship with one another. We have specific items we need
donated to our missionary cupboard for each month. We ask ladies to
bring these items as they are able.
We hold our meetings at the church on the fourth
Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM, except for the months of May (we have
a Mother/Daughter Banquet or Tea), July (we sponsor a family picnic),
and August (we take a summer break). Due to the Holidays in November and
December the week may vary.

Youth
Program for 7th through 12th Graders
The youth program at First Baptist Church is a Bible-based program for
7th - 12th graders. Our purpose is to ground
young people in the truths of God's Word. To teach them to apply
God's standards in their daily living and decision making. We offer a
Junior High (7th and 8th graders) and High School (9th
through 12th graders) Sunday School class. On Wednesday
nights we have a combined program for 7th through 12th
graders using the Word of Life Teen program. The emphasis here is discipleship.
There is an accountability program for the young person in the areas of devotions,
scripture memory and Christian service. There are youth activities
through out the year giving young people opportunities to meet other
Christian young people and to develop friendships with our church young
people. Joe Paczocha
The purpose of music in the life of a believer is to glorify and
worship our Heavenly Father. Therefore, this is the focus of all
music at First Baptist Church,
First Baptist Church has a choir that
ministers all through the year. This ministry is available for 7th
graders through adults who are members of First Baptist. Rehearsal
time is on Sunday afternoon from 5 - 6PM. Special music opportunities are
available for both the AM and PM services for members of First Baptist
Church. Nancy Paczocha
The Olympian program is geared to Challenge children in Grades 1-6. The
children get into a pattern of spending time with the Lord every day with
their quiet time, They also have memory verses to do weekly and Christian books
to read and write reports, building character into the children through
God's Word is stressed.

Statement of Purpose
The mission of Christian Heritage School of The Bible & Theology is to
provide solid biblical training to the men and women who attend so that
they are developed into godly servants of Christ, equipped to more
effectively serve in their local churches and witness to the lost.
All facets of faith, knowledge, and practice are measured by the Bible,
which is the foundation of our educational program. It is our belief and
goal that the faith and knowledge of the Bible is to be practiced in the
daily lives of believers.
With the integration of faith, knowledge, and practice as our goal,
each student is urged to make progress toward the following goals:
Develop a system of values and morals consistent with the
teachings of the Bible
Develop a Biblical worldview and Christian service
consciousness.
Recognize and develop their unique God given gifts and talents.
Develop a solid understanding of the Bible, its doctrines and
principles.
Develop communication skills so as to more effectively
communicate Bible truths.
Develop a disciplined life-style that leads to spiritual growth
and progress.
Function responsibly as Christian individual, family member,
church member and citizen.

1 & 2 Thessalonians |
7:00 –
7:55 p.m.
Instructor: Pastor William Darrow |
This is a verse-by-verse study of the entire two books. Notes will be given out
each class. Study questions will also be given out to help the students to
review what has been taught. The two books of Thessalonians have some of the
most helpful material in regard to the end times teaching. |

The New Age Tower of Babel |
7:00-7:55 p.m.
Instructor: Dr. David L.
Brown |
I agree with a Christian author who wrote -- “It is safe to say that the
prevailing religion in America ... is no longer Christianity but is instead New
Age.” The New Age philosophy has permeated the self-help, personal
transformation field; it has leavened education (from lowest to highest levels)
and reached deeply into business, health care, psychological counseling, drug
and alcohol rehabilitation, politics and government, athletics and sports, even
the military. God’s people need to be able to identify the New Age and refute it
with Scripture so that they can protect themselves, their churches, their loved
ones, and their neighbors in these dark last days. That is the purpose of the
class. [The course book we will be using is The New Age Tower of Babel by David
Cloud] |

2 Samuel |
8:00-8:55 p.m.
Instructor: Pastor William
Darrow |
This is also a verse-by-verse study of the entire book of 2 Samuel. Notes will
be given in each class. Study questions will be given out to help students to
review what has been taught. 2 Samuel begins with David becoming king of Israel
and ends with his death. It is helpful material to encourage the believer to
realize God blesses those who live for Him but judges those who sin. |

Instructor: Dr. David L. Brown |
This exciting course on church history begins with the Apostolic Churches and
ends with the early 1800s. In the first section, we deal with the
characteristics of apostolic churches. The next section covers "The Budding of
Apostasy 100-700 A.D." Under this section, we deal with the development of the
Roman Catholic "church," the church fathers, the progress of true churches, and
the persecutions by pagan emperors. The next sections cover the Roman Catholic
Church 700-1500 A.D., the Waldenses, the Roman Catholic Inquisition, the Bible
in the Middle Ages, John Wycliffe and the Lollards, the Protestant Reformation,
the Catholic Counter-Reformation, the Bibles of the Reformation, the Anabaptists
